Our October NEW MOON falls in the Zodiac sign of LIBRA.  A Libra new moon is about finding balance in our lives… and then through our hearts serving something greater than us. 

Relationships are the theme for our Libra NEW MOON,  the relationship you have with yourself & the relationship you have with others.  What do you serve? What is your greatest devotion in all of your relationships ? 

The energy of our New Moon is felt over the forthcoming two weeks as we lead into the energy of next months Full Moon.

New Moon Conjunct the Super Galactic Centre

Our September New Moon is also conjunct (close to the same degree in Libra) our Super Galactic Centre.

Whilst our Solar System revolves around the Galactic Centre of our Milky Way Galaxy every 225 Million years, our Milky Way Galaxy revolves around the Super Galactic Centre.  

The Super Galactic Centre has the mass of 30 trillion times that of our own Sun and is about 53 million light years (1 light year = 9.5 Trillion km) from Earth.   The Super Galactic Centre represents our Higher Collective Consciousness, the greater potential of Humanity, our greater Cosmic Potential.

As our New Moon & Super Galactic Centre conjunct, we are drawn ‘above’ our individual dramas of our world, and drawn to see a grander and UNITED vision of what is possible for our planet, our global family.   Rather than getting bogged down or taking a side in the divisive dramas at play in our world (take for example at this time Greta Thunberg, Fridays for Future, or POTUS impeachment) – this New Moon moves us out of polarity and helps us to discover a united way forward.

In my heart I feel that our New Moon is calling us to move into Right Relationship, not just with ourselves and each other, but also in Right Relationship with Earth.  We are sitting in a critical moment in Earths Herstory, a calling to be stewards of a restorative Earth for generations to come.  We have a duty of care to all life here on Earth, the Heart of the Super Galactic Centre is calling us to see & feel a new way.

Life is a gift.  We are in sacred relationship with Earth and receive her gifts freely… yet all we are called to gift in return in reciprocity of her riches is our service to ensure a restorative & regenerative biosphere for generations to come.  As ancestors of the future, what can you do TODAY to gift this sweet nectar of Earth to the children of tomorrow ?
